I am always an optimist when it comes to the “Next Great Blues Player”. I, like many of us really wanted Erik Johnson to be “Our Guy”. When I saw this photo for the first time, I was done. I know that is shallow, but I could not get over it. Kinda like how much I like watching girls make out, but when guys do it, I want them to go get a room. I find it hard to believe guys like Barclay Plager, Steve Durbano, Brian Sutter, etc. would let their public image go soft like this. Call me “Old School”, but I want my St. Louis Blues to present themselves as somebody you don’t wanna fuck with, not someone to cuddle up with.

Anybody got a read on Jay McClement?

Just peeked at Jay’s stats…Not so hot. Think he could fit in and come back next year? I am not smart enough and I am too lazy to figure it out. I would like to see him wearing number 18(or 9) for the note again. Am I being nostalgic, or does anyone think he would be a good fit again?

6 Canucks went after Thornton. big scrum. Horton and Weise in a good long battle. This one has potential for lots o blood. Lots of finger pointing and appointment making from the sin bins.
