No, this guy did not open the Roman Polak Door (TM). Instead, he simply had the audacity to try to beat the non-Roman, non-Polish defender wide to the outside. Check out the video as Polak executes a move that he uses literally handfuls of times per game in the NHL and proceeds to fold up the opposing team's forward like a broken lawnchair.
I like the imploring look he gives the ref afterwards.
"What? I barely touched him!"
