I'm shocked -- SHOCKED! -- that Hamilton wasn't on that ''potential relocation'' lost...

Portland and Houston, too.

I was just going to say that (re: Hamilton)

I guess all that RIM money dried up when their stock price tanked.

We are road-tripping to Columbus for the game on Tue.

And I felt compelled to shit-talk.

I know, Columbus should be beneath me. I just couldn’t resist.

Re-post of my smack:

We’ll be seeing ya.

My family and I will be visiting your fair city on Tues for the Blues game. There are 5 of us, so, judging from your attendance numbers for the year, we should only be slightly out numbered.
On the upside, you will get to see a quality hockey team play an aggressive and hardworking game…and they will even have the word "Blue" in their name. That might almost make up for being statistically eliminated from the playoffs IN FEBRUARY!
Oh yeah, you guys did see that, right? On the upside, you can all stop caring and focus on next year…for the 7 or 8 of you that still care.
One upside of you guys sucking so much: I was able to get $60 tickets for $10 from some disenfranchised season ticket holder.

In all seriousness, I do feel for you guys. Having experienced "chronic suck syndrome" all too recently in STL, I know what you are going through. My family will prove itself a cordial and civil guest in your arena and city.

My hockey team, on the other hand, will probably kick your arse and stomp face.

Thanks in advance for the hospitality.

And the coach. He has come in handy.

You're right

We are.
I, apparently, am not.
I was smack-talking with an overly optimistic buddy of mine who has the misfortune of being a BJ fan and I got carried away.

Well, it could be worse.

At least you didn’t wake up a CBJ fan!

Ok, I should stop now.

But they aren't statistically eliminated.

That article used an expected final points total for the eighth seed to determine what other teams would need to do to reach it. The eight teams directly above them could go into a tailspin and the Blue Jackets could go on a tear…and there they are, in the eighth spot with 78 points.

Is it likely? Of course not. But it’s not statistically impossible.

The TWC/MSG blackout here in the NY Area really blows

MSG and MSG+ also carry a lot of the Big XII “B” games that are on their Tier 2 network, not to mention the Knicks (who I don’t really watch but I’d like to see what all this Lin talk is about). So yeah, it sucks, but at least Time Warner Cable screwed up and I have Center Ice for freesies!

Am I the only one that has trouble with the links on the side

It’s linking me to things that were posted from the All-Star game. It’s weird.

Anyway, great game last night. Hard hitting and exciting. I can’t wait for Tuesday. I’m hoping for one of those "definition of dominance games from us.

Some way, some how

we have to invoke something to stop the Redwing menace. Does anyone realize how much more annoying those SOBs will be if they get the home win record all to themselves? We gotta pull out every Santeria, root, voodoo, curse, execration, hex, hoodoo, Pulsa diNura and goat to stop this abomination. Someone in your circle can help, you must seek out this person today and pay whatever you have to. The Blues and NHL are at stake here. Good luck and stay strong, this won’t be easy to overcome this force from the dark side,

I had a nightmare last night.

The Blues traded Backes straight up for Ryan Smyth. Most terrifying dream I have ever endured. I’m scared just thinking about it now. I think I may need therapy.

I don't know about the rest of you

But Im gonna be secretly rooting for the CBJ’s the rest of the season (Not when they’re playing the Blues, of course). I would like to see them turn it around. Its a little late to really salvage anything as a season, but there are still pride points on the line. (what little pride is left after this) I wanna see them pull up their big boy pants, and really start to fuck shit up for other teams. As for this detroit “home-winning record”, i don’t think it carries much weight. No one outside of detroit should give one shit about this record. They’re a good team at home. No, they’re great team at home. If they get it, doesn’t change a thing. They’re still a bunch of pussies, and I’ll still hate them. Either way, Fuck detroit, LGB

by muffin stuffin on Feb 13, 2012 12:53 PM CST reply actions

I want CBJ to fail

They need Nail Yakopov more than they need pride right now. I want them to be a good team just like I want Nashville to be. When we finally switch back to the Norris I want the other 3 divisions to piss themselves when they play ours. We used to go to war with the Stars and Blackhawks and had a little bit of a back and forth with the WIld. I want CBJ to be good so we can hate them for legitimate reasons rather than just because they are regionally close to us. Then as it should be the Norris can go back to being in a constant state of war against itself for a decade and all will be right in the world.

He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged.

latest from Rumor Control

Halak mad genius. Tanked in Oct to get new coach. He knew Payne’s system wouldn’t work and the The COCK was available.

Reaction?

I agree

how in the heck is Halak, whom as far as I know has no prior connection to Hitchcock, know that his system would work better for the Blues.
