No word at this moment on whether or not Karpowich will sign with the Blues and turn pro immediately. The guess here is that, since Peoria just made arrangements to get Alex Stalock to Peoria to back up Jake Allen, there's no room for Karpowich right now... unless they decide they'd rather develop their own goaltender than do San Jose a favor and let Stalock have some games.

Option B: Karpowich is a devoted outdoorsman, likes to hunt and fish. Maybe he'd be interested in an assignment to Alaska?
