Why exactly is this happening, and who the hell green-lighted it? I don't want Nickelback to be associated with hockey, though I realize a lot of NHL players (including several Blues, dammit!) like Nickelback. (Shudder)
The best quote I've seen today, though I'm not exactly sure what context it was in...I liked it nonetheless: "Stop blaming Obama! Blame the NHL for allowing Nickelback to play at the NHL Awards in Vegas!" (as seen on a message board on nhl.com, after an article about the Caps defeating the Bruins tonight)
