Buckle up: You Have A European Fan Coming Your Way!
Yes, you are reading it correctly!
I HAVE BOOKED.This Blues fan from The Netherlands is coming over from Europe!
Next Tuesday I will be flying from Amsterdam, via Chicago to St.Louis. And I will be staying for a week!
I found cheap airline tickets and why not do something spontaneous?? I love a good adventure. And I don't want to miss this chance on play off hockey. Hell, I even wrote a poem to the Fox Sports Midwest Girls to win a ticket, LOL...
I wanna say THANK YOU to all of you (DanGNR, TLMotorsports and all you other nice Blues fans overhere). All you Game Time people are so enthousiatic, it helped convince me to fly overthere! You're a kind and welcoming bunch!
I'll be in town from April 10 to 16!
SO FEEL FREE TO...:
1) ...give advice on what I must see
2) ...give advice on the best places to grab a beer downtown (Lacelede?), Soulard (?), et cetera (I did a little research, so enlighten me)
3)...meetup anytime in STL or before/after the games!
I was in STL in 2009 ofcourse, but that was only 4 days, saw 1 game (and met some nice Game Time folks) and became ill after one day... Therefore I didnt see much of the city. Better luck this time I hope. So, if you're at the Scottrade and see someone with GERARD and 81 on his jersey, feel free to say hi!
Now, let's kick some Detroit ass tonight! See you later, in the GDT.
Gerard to the Blues. Get ready for the Dutchman. :-)
