Saint John Sea Dogs win QMJHL President's Cup

Defeat Chicoutimi 8-0 to take a four-game sweep

Blues' prospects Stephen Macaulay and Ryan Tesink did not score in the eight-goal outburst; Macaulay finishes the QMJHL playoffs with a 6-7-13 scoring line (plus-5, 10 PM, 1 PPG, 1 GWG) in 17 games, while Tesink ends with a 7-6-13 scoring line (plus-5, 24 PM, 2 PPG, 2 GWG), also in 17 games played.

Macaulay was drafted in the sixth round (164th overall) by the Blues in 2010, and must be signed by June 1, or he can re-enter the Entry Draft. Tesink was drafted in 2011 by the Blues, also in the sixth round, 162nd overall, and is expected to become one of Saint John's top-line forwards next season after much of the Sea Dogs' forward depth graduates to the pros.
