Tesink Dealt To Armada

1. Blues' prospect center Ryan Tesink has been traded from the Saint John (NB) Sea Dogs to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, in exchange for a first-round draft pick in the 2013 QMJHL Entry (midget) Draft.

Tesink, who has 16 goals and 38 points in 35 games with the Sea Dogs, reaches his 20th birthday in May, and will be eligible to turn pro in the AHL for the 2013-14 season if the Blues sign him to a contract. Per the article linked below, however, Blainville-Boisbriand's GM expects the six-foot, 170-pound Tesink to be back in the "Q" next year as an overage player.
