Western Conference wins AHL All-Star Game

Rivs' Cundari with assist, plus-1

Ryan Hamilton of the Toronto Marlies scored with less than 12 seconds remaining to give the Western Conference a 7-6 win in the AHL All-Star Game on Monday.

Peoria defenseman Mark Cundari, the Rivs' sole representative in this year's affair, posted an assist on a first-period goal by the Chicago Wolves' Brad Hunt, and was a plus-1 for the game. Cundari also was whistled for the game's only penalty, a tripping call at 13:31 of the third, which the West killed off successfully.
