I really wish that the Ottawa Senators' arena name hadn't've changed from ScotiaBank Place to Canadian Tire Centre. Why?
That's why. The only reference to the Senators on American television is now out of date.
Apparently Craig Anderson is also out of date. He's been atrocious this season for the Senators, though to be fair the team hasn't been keeping up their end of the bargain either - except for noted Blues killer and former Anaheim Duck Bobby Ryan, who so far this year has 15 goals and 30 points. The Sens haven't had a lot of luck against the Blues, but Ryan has.
Vladimir Sobotka might be out tonight with an upper body injury, so Chris Porter has been recalled from Chicago to lend a hand. Brian Elliott's in goal tonight, and I'll assume he'll show the team that gave up on him a good what for like he did the last time the Blues and Sens played.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like the outcome of this game depends on it. Don't forget to question at length why a team called the Senators has a centurion as their crest.
Let's do this. Let's go Blues.
