Course, meet par. The Blues looked like they were inching toward healthy again, with Jaden Schwartz and David Backes returning. Unfortunately, Alexander Steen left Saturday's 6-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers with an undisclosed upper body injury and won't be playing in tonight's game against the Flames. As Brian mentioned yesterday, Dmitrij Jaskin was recalled from the Chicago Wolves to take up that roster spot.
Interestingly enough, Jaskin's expected to get top-six minutes. He has the skills - does he have the experience?

Actually, a more pressing question is: will he get there on time?
Jaskin is still in Chicago, delayed due to weather. Hitch said if Jaskin arrives tonight and does play tomorrow, it will be in top-six role.

That seems about right, doesn't it? Oh well. Tonight is the last game before Christmas, and the Blues have a lengthy little break coming up. Get well soon, Steener. And Sobotka. And Reaves. And Leopold.
