ROSEMONT, IL --- The Chicago Wolves and center Keith Aucoin needed only 27 seconds to finish off the Milwaukee Admirals in overtime, claiming a 2-1 win in an Amtrak Rivalry game on Sunday afternoon at Allstate Arena.
Right wing Mark Mancari’s fourth goal in four games was the lone regulation tally for the Wolves. Goaltender Matt Climie (3-5-0) kicked out 24 of 25 shots through regulation and overtime.

Wolves Topped by Monsters in Overtime, 5-4

CLEVELAND, OH --- The Chicago Wolves overcame a pair of two-goal deficits and led most of the third period but it was the Lake Erie Monsters tying the game with 1:45 left in regulation and grabbing the overtime winner for a 5-4 win Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena.

Allen's shutout on Friday was his second of the season, putting him in a ten-way tie for second place among AHL netminders in that category ... Only Albany's Keith Kincaid has more goose eggs (4) to his credit this year ... COMING UP:

Since the Blues have a game today, and since the only thing my brothers and I can agree upon is that we want to watch the Broncos kick the crap out of the Raiders, "Prospect Sunday" will be abridged today; tune in for "Trending Up" at 2:30 this afternoon. "The '14 File," featuring news and views on the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, and "On The Horizon," featuring the upcoming schedule and stats update for the Blues' prospects, will return next week at their usual times.
