Hey, you can't poke at the Blues for being flat. Their flight from Vancouver didn't get in until 6:30 this morning thanks to a part that needed to be replaced -- they're obviously not operating on a lot of sleep, and they really obviously didn't skate today. Highlight of the game? Probably this goal by Patrik Berglund:
That was Berglund's team leading 9th goal of a year. The Vladimir Sobotka-Patrik Berglund-Chris Stewart line have played together for the past four games, and boosted by Sobotka's grit, they've scored 5 goals together.
Also, T.J. Oshie tried to fight, or something:
Of course, the Blues wind up losing 2-1, because there's no way that fight could get a tired team pumped up.
Anywho, no rest for the wicked, as the Blues are hopping a flight out to Colorado to face off against the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow night, which will be another NBCSN game, which probably means another meh performance on national TV. I'm sure that the Blues'll be looking forward to a few days off, and the way that they've played at home as of late, will be looking forward to playing on the road.
