The Blues are looking to continue their winning streak and the Canucks' struggles in the scoring department. Will Jake Allen stand tall against Vancouver again?
So this kid is starting in net tonight. You might've heard of him -- Jake Allen? He's been on a bit of a roll recently. Ditto with this other guy, Chris Stewart. Actually, the whole team has been on a roll as of late, improving their record to 16-10-2 and sneaking back up the standings.
Tonight's Stewart's 300th game, and it's also Andy McDonald's first game back in ten matchups. Alex Pietrangelo should be back in tonight, so the only player missing out of the lineup is T.J. Oshie and his probably bruised rib. This isn't the team that the Vancouver Canucks want to deal with tonight. Vancouver's in 7th place, two spots and two points below the Blues. They haven't been able to score to save their lives recently, regardless of if their goaltending has been spot on or not.
Will they get a chance to score a few tonight? Will Jake Allen get his rookie goalie leading 9th win? I'll have to find out in the morning, but here's hoping everyone else can find out tonight.
This is your gameday thread. Let's get two more points. Let's go Blues.
