I’ve got some more Blues news that I wanted to make sure you saw.

On Wednesday, March 27, Ameren Missouri and the St. Louis Blues will team up for an event to launch a new program where Missouri residents can win up to $5,000 worth of new appliances and improvements for their home. Its part of Ameren Missouri’s ActOnEnergy initiative that encourages local residents to become more energy efficient. From now until April 23, Ameren Missouri customers can visit Facebook.com/AmerenMissouri to upload a photo and a 50-word essay about why their home needs energy improvements. The grand prize winner will receive up to $5,000 in new and efficient appliances and home improvements, and nine runners-up will receive a $500 gift card to a home improvement store.

To celebrate, Ameren Missouri and the Blues will host a tweet-up at the new Pi Pizzeria in downtown St. Louis from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. Residents can attend to learn more about energy efficiency and meet some current and past Blues players, including Kelly Chase, Darren Pang and Kevin Shattenkirk.
