Blues vs Blackhawks series

The Stanley Cup playoffs have finally come upon us, and Saint Louis' first round match up is against our sworn enemies, none other than the Chicago Blackhawks. I am here to discuss a couple key elements to secure a victory for our good ole' Blues.

First off, I would like to discuss the injured players in Saint Louis. Vladimir Tarasenko has been out from a hand injury for a while, and although he probably will be playing in this years play-offs, it isn't promised he will play 100%. David Backes, however, who has also been out on injury, said he is feelin' good. Finally, we come to T.J. Oshie, who was injured late into the season with a concussion. It is unlikely we will see much of him against Chicago. Anyways, let's all hope this players get better.

Secondly, I would like to discuss the St. Louis fanbase. We all know that Blues Nation is large, having fans in all of St. Louis County and beyond. Will these fans pull through to support our heroes? I certainly think so. Averaging 17,025 screaming, yelling, and cheering fans, with an even bigger increase in playoff attendance, Scottrade is sure to be rocking. When these fans are cheering you on, you feel much more confident and excited, right? The fans will hopefully play a big role in this series.

Finally, we talk about Ryan Miller. Miller is one of Saint Louis' newer players, coming here from Buffalo via trade in the middle of the season. Miller, overall, is an outstanding goalie, with .918 save percentage during this year's normal season. Will Miller 'choke' under the pressure of the playoffs? So far he has being doing an okay job.

I conclude this article by asking all of you readers out there your opinion. While the Blues Win? Why, or Why Not? Are the elements I discussed relevant and correct?
