The Chicago Wolves will face off against the Toronto Marlies in the second round of the Calder Cup playoffs.

Jake Allen made 21 saves, and Dmitrij Jaskin scored a power-play goal with less than a minute to play in the second period to pace the Chicago Wolves to a 4-2 victory over Rochester and a 3-2 first-round series win.

With the win, the Wolves advance to the second round of the American Hockey League playoffs, where they will face the North Division champion Toronto Marlies. In the other Western Conference matchup, the Texas Stars will take on Detroit's farmhands, the Grand Rapids Griffins.
