Wolves add seven ahead of Game 1
The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that forwards Zach Pochiro, Ryan Tesink, Samuel Blais, Jaedon Descheneau, and Chandler Yakimowicz and defensemen Thomas Vannelli and Dmitrii Sergeev have joined the fold ahead of Wednesday’s opening game of the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs.
POCHIRO, TESINK, SERGEEV, and VANNELLI were assigned by St. Louis (NHL) from Prince George (WHL), Alaska (ECHL), Kitchener (OHL), and Medicine Hat (WHL), respectively. BLAIS, DESCHENEAU, and YAKIMOWICZ were all signed to Amateur Tryout contracts (ATO).

The seven join recent additions to the Pack in Robby Fabbri, Colton Parayko and Jacob Doty, all previously assigned by the Blues from the OHL, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and the ECHL's Alaska Aces, respectively.
The Wolves will probably nail most of the New(est) Kids On The Block to a chair in the press box for the series against Utica, but Vannelli (signed to an ELC) and Tesink (gritty first-year pro) might get some ice time.
