So, finally, we're treated to Jaden Schwartz's first game since he injured himself in practice in October. He may not be the Blues' savior, but he's better to be with Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko than someone like, say, Scottie Upshall or Magnus Paajarvi.
The Florida Panthers aren't pushovers this season. They still lead the Atlantic Division by a comfortable six points over the Detroit Red Wings. They have a monster +32 goal differential. They put up seven on the Buffalo Sabres on the 9th. Brian Elliott better be in his usual zone tonight, or else the Blues may have some issues. Of course, even when he is in the zone, they have issues, so hopefully they can snap out of that scoring slump at some point.
This is your morning open thread. Check back later on for some Road Music from Mr. CCR, and your GDT, along with some goodies. Head over to our friend Donnie's site, Litter Box Cats, and say hello while you're waiting on the puck drop.
