Local boys make good in the Ontario League

Carrier traded; All-Star Allen; Binnington wins 2.

The second Blues' prospect in as many weeks was traded in the QMJHL, as 2013 second-rounder William Carrier was dealt to the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Also, Jake Allen named to the AHL All-Star Game, and Jordan Binnington wins twice in two leagues.

TRENDING UP: Pochiro, Veilleux, Tesink, more...

A new face in the "Fab Five" for the first time this season, and a few prospects making their return to the list after a lengthy absence. Here's your weekly look at five Blues' prospects who have exceeded expectations over the last seven days.

Up-And-Down Allen; Binnington, Veilleux stand out.

Jake "The Snake" Allen gets the yo-yo treatment from the Blues this week. Jordan Binnington gets the call to report to the Wolves, and Yannick Veilleux finally breaks out for a big week with the K-Wings.
