Not real happy with my boy DP with the obvious slew-foot on Kassian, he only got 2 for interference. Besides a hidden butt end to the jaw a slew foot is about the worst you can do to someone on the ice. Unless something happened earlier with Kassian I can't see why DP would cheap-shot him like that. Here's the video, Perron seems to have some whacking going on with #40 Lapierre in front of the net right before the slew-foot but that's all I see. Lapierre is also the player DP ends up with along the boards in the ensuing scrum. Feel shame DaVeed.
He gets a rep as a cheapshot and someone will ring that bell and that could be it. It also was a stupid play in a tight game that could have cost a goal and maybe the game next time. Not a smart play.
