Kings @ Blues GDT: Oshiemania returns

The much depleted forward lines of the Blues will get a boost with the return of the Teej tonight. It's important to keep your expectations realistic, though. Oshie will not single-handedly turn the power play or the penalty kill units into the best in all the land. Oshie's tenacious east/west game will improve the Blues in all three zones, but remember that he's only one player. Granted, he's one hell of a player and if there's one thing that can ease the pain of losing Kyle Wellwood to San Jose, it's Oshie.

Expect to see him somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 minutes TOI with some time on both special teams' second units. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a bump in the polls for mayor, either.

The Kings are a team that oughta be familiar, considering they squared off in LA 5 days ago with the Blues winning. How's about the Blues do the same tonight? Only Wayne Simmonds is out for the Kings. McDonald and Perron are still seeing little birdies for the Blues.

Goalies are Halak and Quick. May the Jaro Water flow freely tonight.

If you've read all this, congratulations! You get an internet high five.

Now get to the commenting. It'll keep Oshie's ankle healthy.
