Friday Links: Wild Wild West Edition

Lots of hockey this weekend. The Blues are on deck tonight against the Wild. And tomorrow the Blues will play . . . the Wild. Hmmmmm.

Blues News:

  • There is a song that ends with a hearty "bring me more drink, bitch." The announcement of this new service has me singing that song repeatedly. [Blues]

  • Oh, hooray! Two games this weekend against the Wild! [Post Dispatch]

  • Boyes has a dog named Newman - after Seinfeld's Newman. That's awesome. JR's weekly Q&A session is up, and he answers many questions regarding the trade deadline. [Post Dispatch]

  • Puck drops at 7. [Blues]
  • The enemy. Day 1. [Hockey Wilderness]

Hockey News:

  • Does everyone know what time it is? It's TRADE TIME! [Post Dispatch]

  • The construction for the outdoor rink for the Heritage Classic is well under way.  [THN]

  • Video/Warning: air at indoor ice rinks can danger skaters. [NBC]

  • I didn't realized Country music was that popular in Canada. I also didn't realize that Mr. Underwood was that popular in Canada. [THN]

  • A Russian language primer. [Puck Daddy]

  • If you build it, they will come back. Hopefully. [National Post]

  • Word on the street is that the Bruins shouldn't get into any fights this weekend against the Red Wings. Here's to hoping that the statement is totally off the mark. [NECN]

  • With the Devils win last night [what? a win in Jersey?], Lemaire has 600 wins as a coach. [CBSSports]

Other Stuff:

  • I can either run 4 miles OR I can eat a dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I cannot do both on the same day. Yet. [krispykremechallenge]
  • "This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance - in exactly the same manner that you would enjoy a fine whisky, a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost." Interesting concept for beer. [Daily Mail]

Videos:

Valentine's Day is Monday, and you may be having a difficult time picking a gift for that special someone.  This little guy will help you navigate the many different oddly named candles. Perhaps you'll find something that tickles your fancy.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must be getting ready for work.
