Sunday Links: This Time There Was Time Travel Edition

Thank you, Ben Franklin for Daylight Savings Time. I love the 2nd Sunday in November when we apply that extra hour to the day. The 2nd Sunday in March? Not so much.

Blues News:

  • The Blues win 3 in a row, then lose to Detroit. Sounds about right. [Post Dispatch]

  • The Blues are depleted. Just so depleted. [Post Dispatch]

  • It's hard to believe Andy McDonald was out for so long with a concussion with how amazingly awesome he has been playing recently. [Post Dispatch]

  • Winging it in Motown thinks Saturday is the end of the weekend among other erroneous things. But, please read that paragraph that starts with "Adam Cracknell scored..." Did you ever think any of that would ever happen? Ever? [Winging It In Motown]

Hockey News:

  • If Zach Parise is going to play a 1970s detective, he's gonna need to grow a 70's porn 'stash. The End. [Puck Daddy]

  • Jaw Drops. 66% of the Maple Leafs estimated worth is approximately $1.3 billion dollars. That's a lot of dough. [Puck Daddy]

  • Fittingly, you can fill out this form to apply to buy an NHL team. [DGB]

  • Don Cherry believes the stanchions should be re-engineered. Stanchion is one of my favorite words along with zephyr and Blues win. [CBC]

  • The GM's are meeting in Florida soon. It's reported that they will discuss blindside hits. [CBC]

  • Canucks are running away with that Presidents' Trophy. A nice, round one exit would make everyone feel better. [CBC]

Other Stuff:

  • If every children's game was turned into a movie. Yes, "The Floor is Lava" is one of them. [Cracked]

  • There is a "Jedi School" in Chile based on Star Wars. You might notice this is completely in Spanish. All you need to know. Sable de luz = lightsaber. [BBC Mundo]

  • I wish I had been this clever in school instead of the devil that I was. [Mr. Lovenstein]

Videos:

The difference between being a grownup and a 10 year old kid. There's definitely some truth in there. Thanks, Marcus E-Pettersson.

Brought to you by Spectr17. BAR FIGHT. I mean TACO PLACE FIGHT. I'm not sure what sets everyone off, but I'm now suspiciously aware of guys in striped sweaters.

Brad Flick brings you the links tomorrow as only he can do - awesomely.
