Less than 24 hours after taking the ice and losing in the shootout to the craptacular Minnesota Wild, the Blues are back at it, this time on the road in Murder City, the home of the Detroit Red Wings.
Look, we know these games are usually a big deal. We get it. We love and embrace the phrase Fuck Detroit. But the length of the season, our insane "business" of publishing a game day paper for home games has us checked out mentally and physically. I know Todd Bertuzzi is still an asshole. I know the fans are all douches. Anything else we need to cover?
If the Blues win this, they show they can bounce back after a shootout loss and can put aside the distractions this week from a player not practicing. If they lose, well it's another log on the bonfire that has become this 2010-11 season. We don't need no water, let the motherfucker burn. Burn motherfucker. Burn.
