THE REGULARS:

2011 second-round pick (32nd overall) Ty Rattie broke through the century mark this week with four goals and seven points, but dropped to third in the WHL scoring race as Ottawa prospect Mark Stone (a sixth-round steal in 2010) of the Brandon Wheat Kings and undrafted free agent (are you listening, Mssrs. Armstrong and McDonald?) Brendan Shinnimin of the Tri-City (Kennewick, WA) Americans zoomed ahead. Rattie now has a 52-52-104 scoring line in 58 games, while Stone is 39-66-105 and Shinnimin is 48-62-110, both also in 58 games played.

Over in Mother Russia, 2010 first-rounder (16th overall) Vladimir Tarasenko got off the schneid with a goal (the game-winner vs. Metallurg Novokuznetsk on the 22nd) and two assists for SKA St. Petersburg this week. "T-90" moved up to ninth in the KHL scoring race (53 GP, 23-24-47) despite seeing a drastic reduction in his ice time since being traded from Sibir Novosibirsk in January. With Sibir, Tarasenko was averaging almost 19 minutes a game, but with the deeper SKA squad, he is getting just 11:22 of ice time on average per contest.

The Blues' other 2010 first-round pick (14th overall), Jaden Schwartz of Colorado College, managed just a pair of assists this week as the Tigers dropped both games of a weekend series at Minnesota-Duluth.

AFTER THE JUMP:

After the jump, your weekly look at the players in the Blues' organization who are "Trending Up." Ben Bishop says farewell to the Blues' organ-I-zation this week with a Fab Five-worthy performance, and his battery mate Jake Allen also played fairly well in a loss. A Euro forward who was getting third- and fourth-line minutes in his country's Elite league has been tearing up that nation's junior circuit with three goals and five points in three games during the last two weeks, and a pair of North American junior players make their return to the Fab Five this week.
