WELCOME TO THE 2012-13-HOCKEY SEASON:
The European pro leagues and the three North American major junior leagues (Ontario, Quebec, Western) have begun their regular-season schedules, and Blues' prospects are making strong showings on both sides of the Atlantic in the early going.
The USHL is still in pre-season mode, just wrapping up their annual pre-season Fall Classic in Des Moines, and the AHL, ECHL, and college leagues have yet to get started. Once all developmental leagues have begun their regular-season schedules, this Weekly Prospect Stats Review will be split up into a three-week rotating cycle, as follows:
Week "A" -- Prospects playing in the ECHL and Europe.
Week "B" -- Prospects playing in major junior.
Week "C" -- Prospects playing in the NCAA leagues (CCHA, ECAC, Hockey East, WCHA) and USHL.
Peoria stats will be updated weekly, in the "River Readings" feature, once the Rivermen begin regular-season play.
