The Blues have never started a season 4-0. The Rangers are getting their butts kicked from here to eternity as they figure out how to approach playing under a new coaching staff. Eastern Conference teams have never been a problem for the Blues; the last time the team faced the East they went 14-2-2. Free points!
That may be the best thing about this new schedule - each team faces every team in the other conference once. The Blues already snagged two points from the hapless Florida Panthers; can they nab two more points tonight? That thriller of a game against the Blackhawks was a hell of a warm-up. The Rangers should be a little concerned.
The Blues have a +10 goal differential so far this year and Alex Pietrangelo has five assists, at least one in every game played so far. Steen's second on the points sheet with three goals and an assist; the only Blues player who is a minus is Chris Stewart. His line's still trying to work out some kinks; Brenden Morrow and Derek Roy are each even.
Let's do this. Let's light up King Henrik Martin Biron and his soulless blue eyes. Let's hope Towel Boy runs out of towels tonight.
Let's go Blues.
