San Jose Sharks At St. Louis Blues Morning Open Thread

The San Jose Sharks are 5-0. They're outscoring their opponents by 17 goals (thanks, Rangers!), and young stud/object of Don Cherry's hatred Tomas Hertl already has seven goals on the season. They're good. Their fans are hoping that this is the year for their team, and I really can't blame them - the Sharks look like the real deal.

You know who else looks like the real deal? The Blues. They've been firing on every cylinder, and they're a V8. The top line of Alexander Steen, David Backes, and T.J. Oshie combined for nine points last night, with Steen notching a goal and three assists and Backes having a couple of goals and an assist.

Neither the Blues nor Backes are having a slow start. Will tonight be a speedbump? Will the Blues finally trail in a game? Who knows, but what we do know is that this won't be an easy game for either team.
