The Capitals high-flying offense still can't help them keep pace with the measured Western Conference teams. Will the Blues be able to contain them tonight?

For the love of God, guys, no silly penalties tonight. The Capitals have the second best power play in the league, and the second highest scorer in the league is a big reason why. Who might be number one in those other two categories? The Blues, of course. The Blues have the top power play (25.8% to 24.4%) and Alexander Steen has two more goals than Alexander Ovechkin on a hell of a lot fewer shots.

Fun Fact: Patrik Berglund sits tonight, which means that Magnus Pääjärvi is in. No weird conspiracy - Umlaut is well again, and Techno has a day to day injury.

This is your game day thread. Let's hope that the Caps open the Roman Polak Door. Let's see if Steen can stay atop in the points race. Let's make sure that the Caps' re-caps will say that they "red, white, and blew the game."

Let's do this. Let's get two more points. Let's get atop the Central and stay there.

Let's Go Blues.
