Ducks At Blues: Morning Open Thread

The Blues have won three home games in a row. Can they make it four?

Dilip Vishwanat

I guess this is more of a morning-ish open thread, then. Apologies about the lateness - the hotel is full of volleyball players and folks ready for St. Pat's stuff, so breakfast took a while.

So, tonight's game -- what to expect? The Blues have playing significantly better recently, especially in front of Jake Allen, who is starting again tonight. Gotta award wins! Said Ken Hitchcock to Jeremy Rutherford:

"I think it may be a little bit (Allen), but we played awful well for (Jaroslav) Halak in Anaheim, too," Hitchcock said. "I just think, it takes a lot to re-engage. Like everybody wants to get there, but it takes a lot to get there. But it doesn’t happen over night.

"We lost it for a while, but hopefully we’re in the process of getting it back. We’re certainly not near to where we want to be. But we look like a team that’s starting to make significant progress."

One game at a time. I know that might be a frustrating road to take, but it's the best one for the team.

Before I leave you, here's something to discuss:
