GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Columbus Blue Jackets, Apr 12, 2013

The Blues and Columbus Blue Jackets are meeting for the final time this season. Will it be a series sweep?

Russell LaBounty-USA TODAY Sports

All Jake Allen has to do is not let a puck past him for the first 6:45, and the Blues will have themselves a new team shutout record. Can he do that? Probably. The Blues have allowed one goal in their last 12 periods of hockey, which is impressive stuff. That one goal was scored by the Blue Jackets' Artim Anisimov back on April 5th.

Sure, they've scored just four goals in their last three games, but that can change tonight. While Sergei Bobrovsky has been a heck of a goaltender this year, he's also allowed seven goals in three games against the Blues. That's not really half bad, but he's also lost every game. He is coming off a shutout against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, so perhaps the Jackets would like to see that shutout streak continue.

I'm pretty sure I know which one *I'd* like to see last, but that's just me.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you mean it. Or like you don't. Let's go Blues.

BTW, a heads up: the game is on Y98 and FoxSports Midwest Plus tonight, because that other team is playing.
