Blues @ Avalanche Recap: Well That Sucked

The game was crap. Let's be honest, there was no heart, no soul, and just no want from the St. Louis Blues. They scored 3 goals for the first game in quite a while but really that does not redeem much of anything.

The Blues got goals from David Backes, Jaden Schwartz, and Kevin Shattenkirk.

The game was riddled by sloppy play, selfish and unnecessary mistakes. Turnovers being a big hole in our defense and our penalty kill. We saw quite a few of these holes from those that wouldn't normally give them up. Mistakes were everywhere in this game. From taking bad and selfish penalties at horrible points in time to lead to great offensive chances for Colorado,

to turning the puck over to the Avalanche by trying to stick handle to much or by letting off a bad pass.

Its time to fix these holes and start playing like a team. A cohesive unit with a similar goal to work towards. Go out get a drink and laugh this game off. Do it as a team for god sakes.
