No, I do not know where CNBC is on the dial. I'm trying to find it myself.
Anywho, game one. We're ready, right? T.J. Oshie's ready, because the Kid Line is back! Only now it's more like Young Adult Line, but whatever.
"The 'Kid Line' is back," Oshie said. "We're not kids anymore, but ... I'm fine with it. I've played with 'Perry' for a long time and I always play well with 'Berg Dog.' So it'll be fun."
So, the Kid Line is back, but will they be a problem for the Kings? Hopefully, because the Kings' second line of Kyle Clifford, Anze Kopitar, and Jeff Carter has been holy hell for the Blues. Actually, the Kings' top two lines have been an issue for St. Louis in both last season and this season.
How will the Blues counter? With a fourth line that's pesky, rough and tumble... and that can score. Ryan Reaves, Adam Cracknell, and Chris Porter have been very dominant as of late. When Reaves is a goal short of a hat trick, well... someone's on a hot streak.
Oh, and you might have heard that it's Jay Bouwmeester's first playoff game. Maybe. Somewhere. Like a billion times.
This is your game day thread. Let's extend the Kings' six game road losing streak, shall we? Let's be the predestined ones this season. Let's do this.
Let's go Blues.
Let's Go Blues.
