2013 NHL Playoffs: Blues At Kings Game Three Recap - Blues Lose, 1-0

The Blues squandered a quality performance by Brian Elliott, and could be in danger of squandering a 2-0 series lead.

The Blues have never lost a series in which they've lead two games to none, so there's that. Unfortunately, it's possible, and if they don't start scoring, it's going to happen.

How often do you lose a playoff game in which you allow just one goal? How often can you miss nets that are wide open - so open that a mite hockey player could score on them? How do you overthink everything to such a degree that nothing comes of it?

I won't lie - I fell asleep on the couch after the second period, and I wasn't surprised when I woke up at about 3 this morning and saw the score. The Blues need to fix their scoring problems. The only teams that they lit up this last month were bad ones and the Blackhawks' B-squad. They have scorers, and they need to contribute before it's too late.

I'm not worried - it was just one game - but I'm not happy, either. This needs to get remedied Monday night.
