GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Los Angeles Kings, May 6, 2013

Vladimir Tarasenko is back and Adam Cracknell has been un-released for tonight's game.

Well, fans have been calling for it in the face of the Blues' inability to score. Put Vladimir Tarasenko back in! In full deference to the fans who know the game better than he does (just kidding), Ken Hitchcock will be putting Tarasenko in on the fourth line, replacing Adam Cracknell. If Hitch needs to tweak the lines mid-game, well, that just gives him another top six guy to go to. What did Vova have to say about all of this?

"I'm so excited for my playoff debut."

Awww. So are we.

Anywho, I've written this in every preview and everything else the past three games, and I bet you that I'll be writing it tomorrow, too. The Blues need to score. Quick is leaving rebounds and he occasionally leaves the empty net. Put the puck into it. Do not, though, keep putting David Perron into the net. I know he's trying to mess with Quick's head, but it isn't working. The best that came out of it were Drew Doughty's penalties Saturday night for his freakout:

I get protecting your goalie, but jeebus. Anyway, instead of screwing with Quick's head via your body, David, why don't you use the puck and your stick? I've heard it's more effective.

This is your game day thread. Yell, scream, holler, and try to stay awake. I know I - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
