The Blues have 14 back to backs this season, which were facilitated by the likes of the huge break that just ended. There's a three-day layoff between tomorrow's game against the Anaheim Ducks and Thursday's against the Vancouver Canucks, and then they plod into a jam-packed November. Pick up the points now guys - there's no excuse not to.
Jake Allen will debut tonight, though the starter for the Coyotes hasn't been announced yet. Keep your fingers crossed that it's Mike Smith. Smith is 1-1-0 for the season, but he's allowed 10 goals in two games, including six to the Winnipeg Jets in the Coyotes' home opener. He has to get starts to get back on track; it'd be great if he could get the start but postpone getting back on track.
