Maybe it's because the depth's better this year, but adversity keeps throwing itself at the Blues, and the team keeps telling it to back off. It's a much improved situation than the end of last season, where adversity kept on keeping on, and the team didn't know what to do with it.

Perhaps one of the most concerning side stories going into the game tonight is Jay Bouwmeester, who has come down with the bacterial infection. Is his iron man streak in danger?
