Wolves reel off five unanswered goals for win
ROSEMONT, IL --- The Chicago Wolves shrugged off an early Milwaukee goal and rolled to a 5-1 victory Saturday night in an Amtrak Rivalry contest at Allstate Arena.
Forward Jeremy Welsh notched two goals while defenseman Petteri Lindbohm and forwards Yannick Veilleux and Shane Harper added markers for the Wolves (5-1-2-0). Goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped 18 shots to earn his first win of the season.
"We came out a little flat the first 4-5 minutes," said Wolves head coach John Anderson. "Lindbohm’s goal picked us up. Then we were really solid. I think it was a good team win. Everybody was doing their part. I don’t think there were any weak sisters out there."
