Another Open Bar because, well, there's a game tonight and whatever.
Oh yeah, if you want to talk about Ferguson, do that elsewhere. Please. If you haven't noticed, this is a hockey website, not Facebook. Thanks.
- J-Mill forgot to note Prospect Sunday. Ty Rattie, Ivan Barbashev and Robby Fabbri have done well. Zach Pochiro was sent back to his WHL team. All that and more! [SLGT; SLGT; SLGT; SLGT]
- The Blues host the Senators tonight. Our own Robb Tufts is in town, and wants you to come meet him at Maggie O's! And damnit, you should do this. He's good people. [SLGT FanPosts]
- Want the opponents' view of tonight's game? Check out Silver Seven. [Silver Seven]
- Four games yesterday, a bit more than usual on a Monday during the football season. Weird, if you don't stop to consider that THANKSGIVING IS COMING YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! [NHL.com 11/24/14]
- Seven games today, including that one in St. Louis you may have heard about. [NHL.com 11/25/14]
- A lot of old coaches have been flying off the mortal coil lately. Sunday, we lost the legendary Viktor Tikhonov, as J-Mill noted in Monday's links. Yesterday, the big news was the death of Pat Quinn, the former coach and executive of the Maple Leafs, Kings, Canucks and other franchises. He was 71. [Pension Plan Puppets]
- Also passing over the weekend was Murray Oliver, the former NHL player who later coached the Minnesota North Stars. He was 77. [NHL.com]
- Here's hoping Chiefs defensive back Eric Berry does not have cancer. Yes, I realize the Broncos are playing the Chiefs this week. But I'm a human fucking being too. [Deadspin]
- PRO TIP: Don't steal guns, then post them to Facebook. It usually doesn't end well. [Y! / AP]
- Two videos, fitting with this week's theme of . . . OLD BEER ADS!
First, THIS gem from a beer I have NEVER heard of . . . Ballantine. Apparently from New Jersey. (S/T to Childhood Trauma):
Good stuff.
Second, one I haven't thought about for a good long while . . . Harry Caray, Cub Fan, Bud Man. (S/T to @akmark78):
I don't like the Cubs OR Budweiser (any more, anyway), but I love Harry Caray.
I'll have more full links tomorrow, hopefully after North City and North County have finished turning their backyards over.
Send me stuff:

And look for Episode 62 of Beyond Checkerdome later this week!
