Wow! It's not every day that a team can outshoot one of the worst in the NHL 41-16 and wind up winning 4-3 in overtime, is it? Two points are two points, but that may've been two of the most frustrating points that the Blues have gotten all year. Some good came out of it. T.J. Oshie had a three-point night and Vladimir Tarasenko did this:
Typical Vladdy.
Tragic news, folks. Steve Ott has pulled a groin muscle and will not be making the trip to Minnesota to play the Wild(s) tonight. Jay Bouwmeester has also been put on the IR; the Blues have called up Petteri Lindbohm.
Both the Blues and the Wild played last night, both went to overtime, and both won. Tonight's game may not be a barrel of excitement, but Jake Allen's starting in net again. Tightening up his performance would go a long way to making the game go in the Blues' favor.
