Welcome to St. Louis Martin Brodeur

Brodeur will feel right at home alongside the great goaltending legends of Plante, Hall, and Fuhr who all wore the Bluenote at some point during their NHL careers.

It is official.  Martin Brodeur is now a member of the St. Louis Blues.  According to Nick Cotsonika from Yahoo! Sports, Brodeur signed a one year deal worth $700,000 plus a $10,000 bonus for every point earned while Marty is in net as well as other bonuses.

Prior to signing with the Blues, the New Jersey Devils has been the only team Brodeur played for during his NHL career.  During his time with the Devils he won the Vezina 4 times and the Jennings 5 times.  Brodeur's career save percentage is .912.  However, he has been well below that save percentage during his last 4 seasons with the New Jersey Devils.

Welcome to St. Louis Marty!  It will be a pleasure watching a living legend don the Bluenote between the pipes.
