Wolves can't withstand Monsters' rally

CLEVELAND, OH --- A night that started off as a celebration turned sour as the Chicago Wolves fell 3-2 to the Lake Erie Monsters on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena.
The team began the evening by honoring defenseman Brent Sopel, who skated in his 1,000th regular-season game as a professional. But, following early goals by forwards John McCarthy and Philip McRae, the tides turned in Lake Erie’s favor.
