Wolves can't withstand Monsters' rally
CLEVELAND, OH --- A night that started off as a celebration turned sour as the Chicago Wolves fell 3-2 to the Lake Erie Monsters on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena.
The team began the evening by honoring defenseman Brent Sopel, who skated in his 1,000th regular-season game as a professional. But, following early goals by forwards John McCarthy and Philip McRae, the tides turned in Lake Erie’s favor.

Wolves can't rally past Lake Erie
CLEVELAND, OH --- The Chicago Wolves surrendered two first-period goals and that was enough for the Lake Erie Monsters to secure a 2-1 victory Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
Forward Philip McRae notched the Wolves’ goal in the third period while rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped 24 of 26 shots.

STOCKTON, CA --- Brad Cole’s first goal in an Alaska Aces uniform with 41.7 seconds remaining completed a late, spectacular rally to lift the Aces to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Stockton Thunder before 2,402 fans at Stockton Arena on Thursday.
The win for the Aces, their sixth in a row and their first in overtime since Dec. 1, 2012, moved them to the .500 mark for the first time since Opening Night. Olivier Archambault leveled the game with 46 seconds left in regulation while Brendan Connolly and Greg Wolfe also contributed with first and second period goals, respectively. Chris Francis paced the Aces offense with three assists and fired seven shots.

STOCKTON, CA --- Brendan Connolly tied an Alaska Aces record with five points (1g-4a), while Chris Francis buried two goals en route to a 6-4 victory over the Stockton Thunder before 3,574 fans at Stockton Arena on Friday.
The Aces extended their winning streak to seven straight games and are 8-1-0 in the last nine games, surging above .500 for the first time this season. Five different players recorded multi point games while Johan Gustafsson made 24 saves in his Aces debut. Newcomer Raphael Bussieres recorded a goal and an assist in his ECHL debut.

STOCKTON, CA --- Sebastian Collberg needed a go-ahead goal with 2:57 left in regulation to help the Stockton Thunder sneak past the Alaska Aces, 5-3 on Saturday before 4,622 fans at Stockton Arena.
The loss for the Aces ended their ECHL best seven-game winning streak, who were aided on goals by Chris Francis, Olivier Archambault and Quinn Sproule. They fell to 6-2-0 in the season series while Collberg, Ryan Constant and James Henry each recorded multi point games
