Wolves sweep Heat with 4-1 victory
ABBOTSFORD, BC --- The Chicago Wolves won for the second time in as many nights to complete both the weekend and the season sweeps of the Abbotsford Heat with a 4-1 victory Sunday night at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre.
Center Alexandre Bolduc, right wing Cody Beach, and left wing Dmitrij Jaskin scored first-period goals to build a 3-0 lead and right wing Tyler Shattock closed it out in the final frame. Goaltender Matt Climie made 28 saves to earn his 100th American Hockey League win.

ROSEMONT, IL --- The Chicago Wolves’ franchise-record 17-game home point streak came to an end Saturday night as the Texas Stars earned a 3-0 victory in front of 11,436 at Allstate Arena.
Jake Allen stopped 28 of 30 shots for the Wolves (35-19-4-2), who were shut out for just the second time this season. Chicago hadn’t suffered a regulation loss at home since Dec. 7 and racked up 32 points (15-0-2-0) during its lengthy home point streak.

PAW PRINTS: Including today's rematch with Texas, the Wolves have 16 games left in the regular season; 13 of those games are against division opponents ... Chicago faces Grand Rapids once, at Allstate Arena on Mar. 23, and will meet Rockford five times (2 H/3 A), Iowa three times (1 H/2 A) and Milwaukee four times (3 H / 1 A) down the stretch ... K-Wings move into a share of first place in the Eastern Conference
Kalamazoo defeats Fort Wayne 4-3
KALAMAZOO, MI --- The hot streak of the Kalamazoo Wings continued Sunday afternoon, as the K-Wings won their season-high fifth straight contest with a 4-3 victory over the Fort Wayne Komets. The win also increased their home unbeaten streak to 11 games (10-0-1-0) and put them in a tie with the South Carolina Stingrays for first place in the Eastern Conference.
... (At) 3:11 into the (third) period, Jeremie Blain put the K-Wings in front for good with a power-play strike that was setup on a screen by Yannick Veilleux (his second assist of the game).

K-Wings win streak reaches six games
Kalamazoo defeats Toledo 2-1
TOLEDO, OH --- Goaltender Jordan Binnington turned aside 30 shots as the Kalamazoo Wings grinded out a 2-1 victory over the Toledo Walleye Friday night at the Huntington Center.
The win extended the K-Wings season-high to six games, while propelling them into sole possession of first place in the Eastern Conference.

K-Wings win streak soars to seven
Kalamazoo defeats Toledo 6-4
TOLEDO, OH --- Tying their season-high for goals in a single game, the Kalamazoo Wings defeated the Toledo Walleye 6-4 Saturday night at the Huntington Center. The win increased the K-Wings winning streak to seven games, which ties their ECHL record for longest winning streak set during the 2009-2010 season.
Wasting little time, Chris Lawrence put the K-Wings ahead netting his 10th goal of season just 20 seconds into the game. The goal by Lawrence was the quickest this season to start a game for Kalamazoo. Lawrence, who extended his point streak to seven games, is the ninth Kalamazoo player this season to score 10 or more goals. Then, seconds after a power-play concluded, the K-Wings pushed their lead to two goals with a tally from Yannick Veilleux (15th) 12:20 into the stanza.

WING TIPS: With 12 games remaining in the regular season, the K-Wings are in first place in the Eastern Conference, and third overall in the ECHL, with a 37-18-2-3 record for 79 points in 60 games played ...
