NHL trade deadline: Roberto Luongo headed to Florida Panthers

It's finally happened: Luongo and the goalie controversy is over. He's headed back to the Florida Panthers.

The Blues have one fewer good goaltender to worry about - the drama that's had the NHL in its grips for more than a year is over. Roberto Luongo is headed back to the Florida Panthers for young goaltender Jacob Markstrom.

Luongo occasionally gave the Blues fits, but the bigger fits he gave were to the fans in Vancouver. Who's your starter? Who knows! It's everyone and no one at once!

Now? It's Eddie Lack, star gumshoe - backing him up is Florida's former goalie of tomorrow.

And Luongo?
