I will say that T.J. Oshie's interview on Extra was entertaining mostly for the fact that it's the most that St. Louis has been mentioned on an entertainment show since the last time they talked about Jon Hamm (and probably Li'l Hamm). Look, everyone! Hockey's cool! Our city can lay claim to the only US hockey player to do anything notable during the Olympics*! Let's continue highlighting Oshie's pregnant fiancée even though he's obviously uncomfortable with it and she'd like it to stop!
Entertainment!
Oshie's interview is actually interesting in one non-awkward aspect: he lays out his shootout technique.
Hey, T.J. I know that opposing teams and goalies have video on you and your shootout moves, but going on a nationally broadcast television show and explaining just exactly how you do them is probably not the best idea. Then again, goalies still don't know his other 100 moves, nor do they know exactly where he's going to fire that puck, so he may be ok here.
*Phil Kessel did notable things, but he is also a potato (and therefore may be related to the best GM the Maple Leafs have had in a while), so I'm unsure if he counts.
