I used to advertise my loyalty and I don't believe there is a single person I loved that I didn't eventually betray.

This is your X-men update:

Boyes re-signed with the Panthers on a two-year, $5.25 million extension. Interesting note, he has 3 more points than new-ex-Blue Chris Stewart in one more game. Didn't see that coming.

"Eric" Johnson has 1 goal and 5 assists in his last 3 games. He has been receiving more attention than usual for his handy work with his stick lately.

Nikita Nikitin is day to day with upper body injury.

Lee Stempniak was traded to the Penguins on Wednesday in exchange for a future third-round draft choice.

Chris Stewart stays in Buffalo. He was not traded to Ottawa as many speculated he would be. He hasn’t done anything in 2 games with Buffalo. He is day to day with an ankle sprain.

Mike Weaver was picked up by Montreal.

Dennis Wideman is day to day with an upper body injury.

Brad Winchester was moved to the Wild organization but had not played a game for the NHL team.

Big Ben Bishop has lost 3 out of 4 since the Olympic break, including one to the Blues.

Jaroslav Halak hasn't started a game since the game against Vancouver for the Blues.  He is now with the Capitals.
