Ryan Miller stole Tuesday's game for the Blues. Let's not whitewash that victory - they had problems scoring against Ray Emery, and Miller was the first, second, and third star of that game. Tonight they're playing the worst team in the NHL, but you can't underestimate the Sabres. You do, and you make silly mistakes that you pay for. Ask New Jersey.
The Devils lost to the Sabres' young goalie Nathan Lieuwen, who is up from Rochester getting a cup of coffee during a wasted season for the parent club. He looked good; the Sabres' future isn't a lost cause, even if their season is.
The Blues need to solve this kid, or Jonas Enroth, or whoever the Sabres and Ted Nolan put out there to tend goal. Every point is sacred.
This is your morning open thread. Check back a little later on for a Lighting the Lamp, a preview, a GDT, and a RBR recap. Check in with the guys at Die By The Blade - I think some of them are Blues fans for the playoffs, so let's make them feel warm and fuzzy.
