Blues Sign Former Panthers Forward Peter Mueller

The Blues shore up some more offensive depth for the Wolves.

USA TODAY Sports

The Blues have released a press statement (that hasn't been emailed to the press or put on their website yet) regarding another minor free agent signing. Some of you may remember Peter Mueller from the Florida Panthers, Colorado Avalanche, and Phoenix Arizona Coyotes. He's spent the last season playing for Kloten in the Swiss-A league, amassing a nice 24 goals and 46 points in 49 games.

He, like fellow not-North American player Magnus Paajarvi, is a former first round draft selection, chosen 8th overall in the 2006 draft by the Coyotes. He has had concussion issues in the past, but those do not seem to be impacting his game much currently.

This is a one year, two way deal, so my best guess is if PRV is injured it's Mueller that sits in the pressbox.
