It's no secret that I dislike the RBK Edge jerseys. I hate them on nearly every level, but I've never been the biggest fan of the Blues' incorporation into the template. The piping is everywhere, the shoulders aren't quite right., and in my opinion, it just looks like a shirt.
During the draft this year I saw many people comment on Twitter that it was interesting that the Blues were handing their third jerseys out to the draftees. Was it perhaps a sign that something new was coming? According to Chris over at the excellent blog Icethetics, that's exactly what's going on. He was able to catch a glimpse of the Blues' new jerseys, and they should look familiar to many people (concept art via Icethetics):

It is, essentially, the pre-2004-2005 lockout design on the Reebok template. So, jersey purists, it won't feel like a traditional sweater when you wear it - it'll still feel like a shirt. But at least it'll look like a sweater again.
